Lab data
Blue Cheese potency: THC, CBD and terpenes from 288 lab tests
In 288 state lab tests, Blue Cheese flower had a median total THC of 25.93%, with the middle half of results between 24.27% and 26.87%.1 269 of those tests come from Maryland and 91.0% from a single Maryland lab, so the figures mostly describe that lab's results. CBD is negligible, and only 6 tests report individual terpenes, too few for a profile.1

States with at least 10 tests. Labs, testing rules and sampling differ by state, so compare states with care.1
Terpene profile
Only 6 of the 288 matched tests report individual terpene values, too few for a profile (we chart terpenes reported by at least 10 tests). Median total terpenes: 1.37% (268 tests).1

How published THC figures compare
Strain databases publish lower figures than our lab median: Leafly lists 18% THC and AllBud 20%.2,3 Seed companies' claims for their own versions run from 10–14% (Dinafem) and up to 19% (Royal Queen Seeds) to 20% (Big Buddha's listing at Zamnesia) and 26% (Barney's Farm).4,5,6,7 In state lab results, half of the Blue Cheese flower tests came in above 25.93%, but 269 of the 288 tests come from Maryland and 91.0% from a single Maryland lab; Michigan's 10 tests (a small sample) had a median of 14.21%.1

Limits of this data
- Coverage is narrow: Maryland (269), Michigan (10), Florida (5), Massachusetts (4) supply every test. Oregon and Rhode Island results carry no product names and could not be matched.
- One lab produced 91.0% of these tests (12 labs in total). Across all strains in our dataset, that lab's median THC is higher than other Maryland labs', so this median may run high; Michigan's 10 tests (a small sample) had a median of 14.21%.
- Only 6 tests report individual terpene values, too few for a profile. 268 report a total (median 1.37%), 262 of them from Maryland, where labs report only total terpenes. Michigan reports no terpene values.
- We matched names strictly: crosses and near-miss names (for example "Blue Cheese Bubblegum", 32 tests) are excluded and counted, duplicate certificates are removed, and 6 results above 40% THC were dropped as implausible.
